Bumble Bees
- 1 gal. boiling water, divided
- 1 pkg. JELL-O Berry Blue Gelatin
- 1 pkg. JELL-O Lemon Gelatin
- 64 each chocolate butterflies
- 64 each black string licorice, cut into 2-inch pieces
- Stir 2-qt.
- of the boiling water (or 1 cup of the boiling water for trial recipe) into berry blue gelatin until completely dissolved.
- Pour 2 Tbsp.
- of the gelatin into each of 32 parfait glasses (or 4 parfait glasses for trial recipe).
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until thickened but not set.
- Add remaining 2 qt.
- boiling water (or remaining 1 cup boiling water for trial recipe) into lemon gelatin; cool slightly.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the lemon gelatin over berry blue layer in each parfait glass.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until thickened but not set.
- Pour remaining berry blue gelatin evenly over lemon layers.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until completely set.
- Insert 2 of the chocolate butterflies into top of each parfait to resemble the bumble bee's wings.
- Insert 2 licorice pieces into the gelatin for the antennae.
