Fontina, Apricot and Chocolate Grilled Cheese

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Spread one teaspoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down on the hot skillet.
  4. Place 3 cheese slices on top of each slice of bread in the skillet.
  5. Dollop 1 tablespoon of apricot jam onto the cheese.
  6. Spread 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread on the 2 remaining slices of bread.
  7. Place those slices of bread, spread side down onto the cheese slices.
  8. Butter tops of bread.
  9. Toast on each side until browned to your liking, about 3-4 minutes per side.
