Fontina, Apricot and Chocolate Grilled Cheese
- 4 slices Sourdough Bread
- 4 teaspoons Butter
- 6 slices Fontina Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Apricot Jam
- 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Spread ( Such As Hersheys)
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Spread one teaspoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down on the hot skillet.
- Place 3 cheese slices on top of each slice of bread in the skillet.
- Dollop 1 tablespoon of apricot jam onto the cheese.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread on the 2 remaining slices of bread.
- Place those slices of bread, spread side down onto the cheese slices.
- Butter tops of bread.
- Toast on each side until browned to your liking, about 3-4 minutes per side.
