Butter Lettuce And Herb Salad Recipe

  1. * Note: Use any combination of herbs you happen to have in the refrigerator for this salad.
  2. Basil, parsley, thyme and chervil work well.
  3. Wash the lettuce, then dry it and tear it into bite-sized pcs.
  4. Place it in a large bowl and refrigeratetill ready to toss.
  5. Combine the Dijon, lemon juice and vinegar in a small bowl.
  6. Whisk in the extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Toss the lettuce with the vinaigrette and the herbs.
  8. This recipe yields 4 servings.
