Easy Microwave-Steamed Pork and Chinese Cabbage Wraps

  1. Put the Chinese cabbage leaves in a large pot and fill to about 80% with water.
  2. Boil until soft.
  3. Drain with a colander or sieve.
  4. Spread out the cooked cabbage.
  5. Place 2 slices of pork on top.
  6. Wrap up tightly, working from the stem.
  7. Carve the stem if it's too thick.
  8. Align on a microwave-safe dish with the open ends facing down.
  9. Sprinkle sake and cover with plastic wrap.
  10. Microwave for 5.5 minutes at 600W.
  11. Put the condiments into a small pan.
  12. Stir until thick.
  13. Slice the cooked cabbage wraps in half, and arrange on a serving dish.
  14. Pour over the thick sauce from step 4.
  15. Scatter green onions to finish.
