Matthew's Elephant Ears

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and peanut butter.
  2. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar, 1 cup at a time, and mix until smooth.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies and mix well.
  5. Form the mixture into balls about the size of a quarter.
  6. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate, chocolate chips and wax, stirring occasionally.
  7. Using a toothpick, dip each ball in the chocolate mixture, coating the ball completely.
  8. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
  9. Remove and store in airtight containers.
