Baked Tomato Garlic Pasta

  1. Halve the tomatoes (use more than 15 if they are small).
  2. Place them, cut side up, side-by-side in a large casserole dish.
  3. Cover heavily with chopped garlic.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over each tomato half, and generously sprinkle onion salt, garlic salt, parsley, and oregano on top.
  5. Bake at 350F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  6. While tomatoes are cooking, prepare the pasta according to package directions.
  7. When tomatoes are mushy, mash them up with a fork, making sure to scrape up the crunchy pieces off the bottom of the pan and mix that in as well.
  8. Toss with the cooked, drained pasta.
  9. Serve with grated parmesan cheese on top.
