Black Forrest Cheesecake
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. chocolate wafers
- 3/4 stick butter, cut in pieces
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 lb. cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cherry pie filling
- whipped cream
- Butter 9-inch pan.
- Finely crush cookies.
- Cut in butter until mixture is well blended.
- Press crumbs into bottom of pan and up sides to 3/4-inch of top.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Heat whipping cream and chocolate over low heat until melted.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs.
- Add chocolate and vanilla.
- Stir well. Pour into crust.
- Bake 1 1/4 hours.
- Cool completely.
- Serve with cherry pie filling and whipped cream.
