Black Forrest Cheesecake

  1. Butter 9-inch pan.
  2. Finely crush cookies.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture is well blended.
  4. Press crumbs into bottom of pan and up sides to 3/4-inch of top.
  5. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  7. Heat whipping cream and chocolate over low heat until melted.
  8. Cool 10 minutes.
  9. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  10. Beat in eggs.
  11. Add chocolate and vanilla.
  12. Stir well. Pour into crust.
  13. Bake 1 1/4 hours.
  14. Cool completely.
  15. Serve with cherry pie filling and whipped cream.
