Chile Sausage Squares Recipe

  1. Combine Bisquick, lowfat milk and 2 tbsp.
  2. mayonnaise, stir well.
  3. Spread mix in greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish, set aside.
  4. Cook sausage and onion in skillet till meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
  5. Drain well between paper towels.
  6. Layer sausage mix over Bisquick mix.
  7. Combine egg, cheese and chiles; spread over sausage mix.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  9. Let stand five min before serving.
  10. Yields about 40 appetizer servings or possibly 8 individual servings.
