Pizza Meatloaf Aunt Anne's Recipe
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 small garlic clove, crushed
- 12 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 (12 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1 egg
- 12 lb shaved virginia ham
- 1 12 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- fresh mushrooms (or canned) (optional)
- fresh spinach (chopped) (optional)
- Using only 1 cup of spaghetti sauce, mix first 7 ingredients.
- Spread out in rectangle on wax paper and place ham, then cheese on the meat mixture.
- If using mushrooms and/or spinach - layer that as well.
- Roll up like jelly roll.
- Place seam side down on a cookie sheet.
- Spread the remaining spaghetti sauce over all.
- Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Can be made into 2 rolls and freeze one for later use.
- Just thaw and warm.
