Veal Parmesan Recipe
- 1 pound thin veal
- Salt & pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan
- 1/3 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 pound mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Sprinkle veal with salt and pepper.
- Beat egg with 2 tsp.
- water.
- Dip veal in egg then mix of crumbs and grated Parmesan.
- Fry veal in warm oil till golden brown.
- Remove to baking dish (or possibly pan).
- In same frying pan, saute/fry onion in melted butter.
- Add in paste, warm water and marjoram.
- Simmer and stir a few min.
- (For more sauce a can of tomato sauce can be added if you like.)
- Lay pcs (or possibly slices) of mozzarella on veal.
- Pour sauce over all.
- Bake 20-30 min in 350 degree oven.
- This is one of my favorite recipes.
- Serves 4.
