Campbell's Herb Burger Recipe
- Prep/ Cook Time: 25 min
- 1 1/2 lb grnd beef
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) Campbell's(r) Condensed Cream of Mushroom or possibly 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves, crushed or possibly 1 tbsp. minced fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp dry chives or possibly 1 tbsp. minced fresh chives
- 6 slc cheddar cheese
- 6 whl wheat rolls, split
- Shape beef into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
- COOK patties in skillet till browned.
- Pour off fat.
- Add in soup, water, basil and chives.
- Heat to a boil.
- Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes.
- or possibly till done.
- TOP with cheese and cook till cheese is melted.
- Serve on rolls.
- Makes 6 sandwiches.
