Rice Cake (Puto)
- 4 cup rice flour
- 2 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 dash sugar crystals
- Sift rice flour.
- Add baking powder.
- Mix well and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg.
- Add flour mixture slowly, while mixing carefully.
- Add evap milk, followed by water.
- Mix well.
- Pour into moulds and steam for about 30 minutes or bake at 300* for 55 mins to an hour, or when inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Sprinkle with sugar crystals, or sprinkles of uour choice.
- Serve cool.
- Enjoy..
