Yummy Salisbury

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. line a broiler pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Combine beef, egg, stuffing crumbs, salt, pepper and worscestershire sauce in bowl, then shape into four oval patties.
  4. Place patties onto foil lined pan and palce in broilerBroil patties until they are no longer pink,turning atleast once.
  5. This take about 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. While patties are broiling, over medium heat, melt butter in large skillet.
  7. Saute onions until they are translucent in color.
  8. (This usually takes about 5 minutes).
  9. Once translucent Sprinkle in flour.
  10. Cook about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  11. Gradually stir broth into onion skillet.
  12. Cook sauce until sauce thickens, stirring constantly (about 3-4 minutes).
  13. Stir in parsley.
  14. Pour onion gravy mixture over patties and serve immediately.
  15. Helpful hint: You can make patties ahead of time and freeze in freezer bags.
  16. (stack between pieces of waxed paper or siran wrap).
