BAPS (Browned Apple Patties)A Nutritious, Low-Glycemic Dessert.

  1. Combine the apples, nuts, flour, fructose sweetener, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Mix and form into 4 patties.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
  4. Add the patties, and cook until firm and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Turn them over carefully, and cook until browned on the other side, about 5 minutes more.
