Brown Mint Sauce Recipe

• 1 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. corn syrup
• 1/4 c. water
• 3 sqr bitter chocolate
• 1 dsh salt
• 2/3 c. cream
• 3/4 tsp peppermint flavoring

1. Combine first five ingredients in heavy saucepan.
2. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly till sugar dissolves.
3. Cook to soft-ball stage, then remove from heat and slowly blend in cream.
4. Add in peppermint flavoring.
