Crunchy Sesame Lemon Asparagus

  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat; cook and stir sesame seeds until lightly toasted, 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Add lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper; stir until evenly combined.
  3. Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer.
  4. Bring water to a boil.
  5. Add asparagus, cover, and steam until tender, 2 to 4 minutes.
  6. Transfer asparagus to a serving plate and drizzle sesame-butter over the top.
