Cheap Cheater Chicken Pot Pie
- 1 whole Large Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic, More Or Less To Taste
- 1 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 3/4 cups Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Poutlry Seasoning
- 1/2 cups Peas
- 1/2 cups Diced Carrot
- 1/2 cups Corn
- 1 whole Rotisserie Chicken
- 1 loaf Bread (or Buns)
- In a large frying pan or pot, saute on medium heat the chopped onion with garlic until transluent.
- Add cream of mushroom soup with milk.
- Stir well until soup mixture is smooth.
- In a small glass combine flour with the water and stir until smooth.
- Add the slurry to the pan with the butter and mix well.
- Allow to come to a boil.
- Add salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning or any other spices.
- Add peas, carrots, and corn.
- Take meat off the bone from a rotisserie chicken and pull meat into bite size chunks.
- Add to the pot.
- Allow to gently boil until mixture thickens.
- The longer it sits, the better it gets!
- When ready to eat, toast bread well and butter.
- Scoop 1/2 cup of mixture onto each piece of toast.
- Serve and enjoy!
