Toasted Whole Grain Apple Cheddar Panini

  1. Lightly butter 1 side of each slice of bread (I love the Alpine Valley Loaf from Costco).
  2. Heat a small skillet or grill pan to get the panini look over medium heat.
  3. Place the buttered side of bread #1 down in the hot skillet.
  4. Layer bread with half the cheese, the apples then the remaining cheese.
  5. Top with bread #2, buttered side up.
  6. Grill for 1- 1 1/2 minutes per side, pressing on the sandwich (to get grill marks) until golden brown on each side.
  7. Remove, slice, dip in Dijon and EAT!
  8. Makes 1 serving.
