Biscuits Supreme Recipe
- 2 c. all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- Stir together first 5 ingredients.
- Cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add in lowfat milk, stir till dough clings together.
- Knead gently on lightly floured surface.
- Roll to 1/2" thickness, cut with 2 1/2" cutter.
- Put on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 min.
- Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
