Baked Egg With Smoked Salmon Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Flake smoked salmon into bite-size pcs and place in a large bowl; set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a small saute/fry pan till warm.
  4. Add in shallots and garlic; saute/fry about 2 min.
  5. Add in thyme and dill; remove from heat.
  6. In a medium-size bowl, whisk together Large eggs and half-and-half.
  7. Pour into bowl with smoked salmon.
  8. Add in cooled garlic mix; stir well.
  9. Pour into a greased 2-qt baking dish.
  10. Bake 20 min.
  11. Top with Gouda cheese, salt, pepper and bake 10 to 15 min longer, or possibly till a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  12. Serve warm; top with lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt, if you like.
  13. This recipe yields 4 servings.
