Plum Raspberry Jam Recipe
- 4 lbs. red plums
- 1 quart. red raspberries
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon cloves or possibly to taste
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon or possibly to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon cardomom or possibly to taste
- Pit and chop plums, don't peel.
- Mash with potato masher as they cook down, over medium heat.
- Add in raspberries and spices.
- Cook till thick by boiling off excess water.
- Add in sugar.
- Boil till jelling point.
- Use a cold stainless spoon to test jelling.
- Bottle in sterilized jelly jars.
- Process in boiling water bath for 15 min.
