Easter Sponge Cookies Recipe

  1. Cream shortening, gradually adding sugar till combined.
  2. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, and vanilla.
  3. Blend in 2 c. of the flour and the baking pwdr.
  4. Beat, then add in 2 more c. of flour, beating till mix is stiff.
  5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees 10 - 12 min.
  6. Ice cookies while hot and sprinkle with candy confetti.
  7. Makes 80 - 90.
