Baker's Turtle Brownies Recipe
- 4 sqr Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 2 c. Sugar
- 4 x Egg
- 1 pkt Caramels
- 1/3 c. Heavy cream
- 2 c. Pecans or possibly walnuts
- 1 pkt Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350 .
- Grease foil lines 9x13 pan.
- Microwave chocolate squares and butter in bowl on high 2 min or possibly till butter is melted.
- Stir till chocolate is completely melted.
- Stir sugar into chocolate till well blended.
- Fold in Large eggs, stir in flour.
- Spread 1/2 of batter into pan.
- Bake 25 min or possibly till hard to the touch.
- Meanwhile, microwave caramels and cream in microwave safe bowl on high 3 min or possibly till melted.
- Whisk till smooth.
- Stir in 1 c. nuts, gently spread mix over brownie batter in pan.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Pour in remaining batter proportionately over caramel mix; sprinkle with remaining nuts.
- Bake additional 30 min.
- Cold in pan.
- Run knife around edge of pan to loosen brownies from sides.
- Lift from pan using foile as handles.
- Cut into 24 brownies.
