Sesame chicken
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seed oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- In bowl, whisk together egg, cornstarch, and salt and pepper.
- Trim fat off chicken and cut into 1 inch pieces.
- Toss chicken in mixture.
- Heat skillet with oil, until hot.
- Add chicken till cooked all the way (7-10 minutes)
- While chicken xooks, prepare sauce in a small bowl by stiring together the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, fresh ginger, minced garlic, cornstarch, and sesame seeds.
- Pour sauce over cooked chicken, toss, then turn off heat.
- Cover chicken and let sit for 5-10 minutes so sauce thickens.
- Do the same sauce mixture and mix with rice or quinua.
