Cheese and Chive Souffle Oysters
- 24 oysters on the shell
- Rock salt
- 125 g PHILADELPHIA Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- 2 tablespoons snipped chives
- 2 eggs, separated
- PLACE the oysters on baking trays lined with rock salt.
- COMBINE the PHILLY with the cheese, chives and yolks.
- Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form then gently fold through PHILLY mixture.
- TOP each oyster with a spoonful of PHILLY mixture and bake in a hot oven 200C for 510 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Place on a serving platter lined with rock salt.
- Serve immediately.
- HANDY TIP: This recipe is perfect to serve as an entree for 4 people.
