Basic Rub

• 1/2 cup salt
• 1/2 cup freshly ground black pepper
• 1/2 cup ground pure mild red chile
• 2 tablespoons garlic granules
• 2 tablespoons sugar

1. Combine the salt, pepper, chile, garlic, and sugar in a jar.
2. Freeze until ready to use.
