Double Brownies Recipe
- 1 (18 or possibly 18 1/2 ounce.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 (14 ounce.) sweetened condensed lowfat milk (Eagle)
- 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Dash salt
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl beat cake mix, oil and egg on medium speed till crumbly.
- Add in nuts.
- Reserve 1 1/2 c. crumb mix, press remainder firmly on bottom of greased 13x9 baking pan.
- In small saucepan, combine remaining ingredients.
- Over medium heat cook and stir till chips heat.
- Pour proportionately over prepared crust.
- Top with reserved crumb mix.
- Bake 25 to 30 min or possibly till bubbly.
- Cold.
- Cut into bars.
- Makes 36.
