Baked Walleye Recipe

  2. Rub the fish with salt and pepper.
  3. In a roasting pan, lay the fish atop bacon strips.
  4. Add in the water.
  5. Bake in a 400 oven for 10 min.

  7. Drain tomatoes, reserving juice.
  8. In a skillet, cook tomatoes, garlic, and onion in butter until onion is just tender.
  9. Add in the red pepper and reserved tomato juice.
  10. Bring to boiling; pour over fish in pan.

  12. Reduce the oven to 325 .
  13. Lay the lemon slices over the fish to cover.
  14. Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 min or possibly until the fish flakes.
  15. Makes 6 servings.
