Liver And Gravy Recipe
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound thinly sliced beef liver
- 2 tbsp. bacon drippings
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 med. onions, minced
- 3 tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon whole basil
- 1/2 teaspoon whole thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Coat liver in seasoned flour mix and brown in 2 Tbsp.
- bacon drippings.
- Remove liver and place in a shallow 1 1/2-qt baking dish.
- Sprinkle with garlic.
