Classic Beef Stroganoff with Easy-to-Remember Ingredients

  1. Separate the beef, salt and pepper lightly.
  2. Julienne the onion.
  3. Heat butter in a pan, and saute the beef and onion.
  4. When the onion becomes slightly soft, turn the heat down and sift in the cake flour.
  5. Stir-fry without burning.
  6. When the beef is browned and the onion transparent, add all ingredients.
  7. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  8. Add heavy cream to finish.
  9. Mix everything and turn the heat off.
  10. Serve with buttered rice or garlic rice.
  11. It looks pretty if you pour fresh cream (or non-dairy creamers) right before servings.
