Classic Beef Stroganoff with Easy-to-Remember Ingredients
- 120 grams Thinly sliced beef offcuts
- 150 grams Onion
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Cake flour
- 100 ml Red wine
- 100 ml Tomato juice
- 100 ml Heavy cream
- 1 Soup stock cube
- 1 tbsp each Ketchup and sauce
- 1 Bay leaf
- Separate the beef, salt and pepper lightly.
- Julienne the onion.
- Heat butter in a pan, and saute the beef and onion.
- When the onion becomes slightly soft, turn the heat down and sift in the cake flour.
- Stir-fry without burning.
- When the beef is browned and the onion transparent, add all ingredients.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add heavy cream to finish.
- Mix everything and turn the heat off.
- Serve with buttered rice or garlic rice.
- It looks pretty if you pour fresh cream (or non-dairy creamers) right before servings.
