Coney Island Sauce II
- 2 lbs (.9 kg). ground beef
- 1 cup (225 ml) onions, finely chopped
- 1-1/2 tbsp (20 ml). chili powder
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml). cayenne
- 1/6 tsp (1 ml). garlic powder
- 1 16 oz (448 grm). can tomato puree
- 1 cup (225 ml) water
- 1 tbsp (15 ml). salt
- Brown beef and onions till beef is cooked & onions are tender.
- Drain to remove fat.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer at least 30 min.
- or till desired consistency.
