Bow Ties with sausage tomatoes and cream
- 8 oz bow tie pasta cooked and drained and kept warm
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb sweet italian sausage casings removed and crumbled
- 3 clove minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp minced fresh parsley and basil
- 1/2 bell pepper thin sliced if desired
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 28oz can italian style plum tomatos drained and chopped
- heat pil in large saucepan add sausage and red pepper flakes and cook until browned stir in onion and garlic and pepper if using cook until tender add tomatoes and cream and salt and peppet to taste simmer until thickened 8 to 10 min add cooked pasta to sauce and parsley and basil and heat through
