Checkered Cheese Melts
- 2 sourdough English muffins, split, toasted
- 4 thin slices tomato
- 1/2 pint deli chicken salad without pasta
- 2 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes Yellow American, each cut into 4 squares
- 2 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes White American, each cut into 4 squares
- Heat broiler.
- Top each toasted muffin half with 1 slice tomato and 1/4 chicken salad.
- Place 2 yellow and 2 white cheese squares in checkerboard pattern on each muffin.
- Broil 5 to 7 inches from heat 1-2 minutes or until cheese begins to melt.
