Baked Apples 2 Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
  2. Combine the butter, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl, working the mix with your fingers till the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Set the filling aside.
  4. Core the apples; then carefully remove a strip of peel from around the stem end of each.
  5. Divide the raisin filling among the hollowed-out cores.
  6. Place the apples in a small baking dish and pour the cider into the bottom of the pan.
  7. Bake, basting the apples occasionally with some cider, till the centers can be easily pierced with a knife, 40 to 45 min.
  8. Serve hot with the juices from the pan, with the whipped cream.
