Peachy Praline Pie Recipe
- 1 unbaked Oronoque pie shell
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 4 c. sliced peaches
- 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. minced pecans
- 3 tbsp. butter
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine granulated sugar and 3 Tbsp.
- flour in large bowl.
- Add in peaches and lemon juice.
- Combine brown sugar, 1/4 c. flour, and pecans in small bowl.
- Cut in butter till mix is crumbly.
- Sprinkle 1/3 of the nut mix over bottom of pie shell; cover with the peach mix and sprinkle remaining nut mix over the peaches.
- Bake at 400 degrees till peaches are tender.
- Lower oven if pie browns too fast.
