Southern Deer Burger

  1. Combine all of the ingredients except the oil in a bowl, and squeeze with your hands until evenly mixed.
  2. Shape into half-pound burgers (roughly a fist-sized ball of meat, flattened).
  3. Heat the oil in a medium skillet and fry the burgers, turning, until done (rare, medium, or well, depending on what you like).
