Grandmother's Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

  1. Sift together first 4 ingredients.
  2. Gradually add in lowfat milk to keep smooth.
  3. Add in egg yolks and butter.
  4. Cook over low heat till thickened (in microwave 8 min on high or possibly till boils, stir every 4 min).
  5. Cold and add in vanilla.
  6. Pour into baked and cooled pie shell.
  7. Top with meringue.
