All American Clam Chowder Recipe
- 3 slc bacon
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 1 can chopped clams, (7 1//2 ounce.) save liquor
- 1 c. potatoes, cubed
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 dsh pepper
- Cook bacon till crisp.
- Remove and break into 1-inch pcs.
- Brown onion in bacon fat.
- Add in clam liquor and potatoes.
- Cover and cook over low heat till potatoes are done, about 15 min.
- Blend in bacon pcs, chopped clams and other in ingredients.
- Heat, but don't boil.
- Bacon may be used for garnish.
