Chuck Roast Italian Beef

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in a 9 x 13 roasting pan.
  2. Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours until fork tender.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes.
  4. Strain liquid and reserve.
  5. Shred the meat and discard fat.
  6. Pour reserved liquid over meat; stir to coat evenly.
  7. Serve piled on French rolls.
