Chinese Style Ribs Recipe

  1. Make ginger sauce: mix together 1/2 c. soy sauce, 1/2 c. ketchup, 1/4 c. chicken broth, 3 Tbsp.
  2. brown sugar, 2 Tbsp.
  3. grnd ginger.
  4. Pour over ribs and place them in a large covered bowl and chill overnight.
  5. Remove ribs from marinade.
  6. Save marinade.
  7. Mix 2 Tbsp.
  8. sugar, 1/2 tsp.
  9. salt, 1/4 tsp.
  10. paprika, 1/4 tsp.
  11. turmeric, 1/4 tsp.
  12. celery seed, and a dash of dry mustard.
  13. Rub ribs with this mix, thoroughly.
  14. Place ribs under broiler, basing often with reserved marinade, till well browned on both sides.
