Amish Dream Cake

  1. Beat egg whites until frothy.
  2. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks and salt until very thick and lemon colored.
  4. Add water and beat.
  5. Add sugar gradually, beating until thick enough to hold a soft peak.
  6. Fold egg whites and flour into egg yolk mixture.
  7. Bake in tube pan 40 minutes at 350.
