Spicy Zucchini Fries

  1. Now first off I love to serve this with a creamy parmesan dipping sauce which you can make your own, but normally I don't even use a sauce.
  2. These are light and spicy as is.
  3. Mix all the ingredients to make a nice tempura batter.
  4. In a large pan heat up the oil.
  5. Then dip the zucchini and then fry until golden brown.
  6. Don't add too many at one time.
  7. They come out crispy and brown.
  8. I like to use a simple marinara as a dipping sauce -- reminds me of fries with ketchup.
  9. It is really a great simple side dish.

zucchini, egg, very cold water, flour, chili powder, cayenne, salt, marinara sauce, vegetable oil
