Munchkins' snack dippers
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 2 can 8 ounces, each refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- Preheat oven to 375 and spray cooking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In small saucepan, bring to a simmer tomato sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Meanwhile, brown ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
- When browned, drain if necessary, then add 1/2 cup hot tomato sauce.
- Separate crescent dough into 8 rectangles, pinching seems together.
- Spread beef mixture lengthwise along each rectangle.
- Sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon mozzarella.
- Fold each rectangle together longways and pinch seems.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt.
- Cut each rectangle in half.
- Bake 12-14 minutes or until golden.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
