Queso Dip with Tortilla Chips
- 1 pound American cheese
- 1/2 cup chunky salsa
- Tortilla chips
- Cut the cheese into 1-inch cubes.
- Place the cheese and salsa in a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- (Alternatively, if you have a microwave, place the cheese and salsa in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Cook on high heat for 2 minutes, stir, and continue to cook 1 minute at a time, stirring after each minute, until the cheese is completely melted.)
- Place the queso dip in a bowl in the center of a large platter and arrange the chips around the bowl.
- (You will need to reheat this periodically by placing it back on the stove or in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.)
