Adam West's Super Bowl Dumplings Recipe
- 1 lb Sweet italian grnd Sausage
- 1 lrg Red pepper, dice
- 1 c. Mushroom, dice Freshly grnd black pepper
- 2 tsp Fresh sage
- 12 ounce Won-ton wrappers Flour Nonstick cooking spray
- In large skillet, hot sausage over low heat for 15 min.
- Drain fat.
- Add in onions, peppers, mushrooms, pepper, and sage, and saute/fry over low heat for 10 min; set aside.
- Lay won-ton wrappers on a well-floured surface.
- Brush tops with water.
- Fill each skin with 1 ts of mix, then mix in half diagonally; press edges to seal.
- Spray a steamer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place as many dumplings as possible in basket and steam, covered, for four to five min.
