Black forest trifle
- 410 grams black cherry pie filling
- 465 grams chocolate custard
- 150 grams chocolate sponge cake
- 300 ml extra thick double cream
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 square milk chocolate
- Pour the cherries into the bottom of a medium sized bowl
- Cut up the sponge cake and create a layer on top of the cherries (see my other recipies for how to make a chocolate sponge)
- Pour the chocolate custard over the sponge layer
- Whip the cream together with the sugar
- With a piping bag (optional) carefully add the cream as the top layer
- Grate your chocolate and sprinkle over the top
