Black forest trifle

  1. Pour the cherries into the bottom of a medium sized bowl
  2. Cut up the sponge cake and create a layer on top of the cherries (see my other recipies for how to make a chocolate sponge)
  3. Pour the chocolate custard over the sponge layer
  4. Whip the cream together with the sugar
  5. With a piping bag (optional) carefully add the cream as the top layer
  6. Grate your chocolate and sprinkle over the top
