Honey Glazed Chicken (Microwave) Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 to 2 1/2 lbs. chicken pcs
- For sauce, in a 2-c. microwave-safe measure, combine all ingredients, except chicken.
- Cook, uncovered, on high 2 to 3 min or possibly till mix is thickened and bubbly, stirring every minute.
- Set aside.
- In an 8x12x2 inch microwave baking dish, arrange chicken pcs, skin side down, with meatiest portions facing toward the outside of dish.
- Cover loosely with waxed paper and cook on high 9 min, giving dish a half turn and rearranging chicken pcs once.
- Drain well.
- Brush chicken with sauce.
- Turn chicken and brush with sauce again.
- Cook on high 8 to 10 min more or possibly till chicken is no longer pink.
- Keep hot.
- Cook remaining sauce, uncovered, for 1 minute or possibly till heated through.
- Serve with chicken.
- Serves 4.
