Asian Pear Compote

  1. Peel and core the pear, then cut into 5 mm slices.
  2. Evenly spread the slices into a heat-resistant dish, then evenly sprinkle on the sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Cover with a lid and microwave for 5 minutes.
  4. After the slices are tender, it's ready to serve!
  5. If they are still hard, microwave longer, checking after increments of 30 seconds.
  6. Cover with a lid and cool.
  7. It will become tender from the residual heat.
  8. Once it cools, chill in the refrigerator.
  9. Serve chilled.
  10. Use the compote to make a fluffy and rich cheese cake.
  11. It's easy since it uses pancake mix..
