Hearty Lamb Pilaf Recipe

  1. Combine lamb, onion and garlic in large Dutch oven; cook till lamb is browned and tender.
  2. Stir in chicken broth, tomatoes, rice and oregano; bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 40 min.
  4. Stir mix occasionally.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients, stirring well.
  6. Simmer uncovered an additional 40 min, stirring occasionally.
  7. Yield: 8 servings.
