ginger glazed mahi mahi
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 4 6 oz. mahi mahi filets
- 1 salt and pepper
- in a shallow dish stir together honey soy sauce vinegar ginger and olive oil
- season fish filets with salt and pepper and place them in dish
- if fish has skin place skin side down
- cover and refridgerate for 20 min to marinate
- heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat
- remove fish from dish and reserve marinade
- saute fish for 4-6 minutes on each side turning only once until it flakes easily with a fork
- remove from skillet and keep warm
- pour reserved marinade in skillet and heat over medium heat until the mixture reduces to a glaze
- spoon glaze over fish
